WHAT IS SUPERVISED VISITATION?
Supervised Visitation is a court ordered service in which a neutral third person is responsible for observing and ensuring a child’s safety during contact with a non-custodial parent
Supervised visitation might be legally court ordered to diminish visitation-related conflict between caregivers, to support the improvement of parenting abilities, and/or to assist in the reconstruction of healthy parent-child relationships.
Supervised visits frequently take place in a neutral location.
WHAT DO PROFESSIONAL MONITORS DO?
